If you asked Peter Pan, he’d tell you that when the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and that was the beginning of fairies. With such a magical beginning, there couldn’t be a more adorable theme for a child’s birthday party than fairies. That is exactly what twin sisters, Layla and Lily, got for their third birthday party. Their mom, Kelsey, created an enchanting pixie hollow of glitter and pastels. Her fairy-themed party was perfect for the birthday girls’ special day.

Fairy Themed Birthday Party Supplies and Decorations

For the girls’ party, Kelsey chose to go with a pastel palette of their favorite colors - pink and purple. Kelsey decorated her garage doors with a gorgeous balloon and streamer backdrop to set the stage for the party. She created a scene of pale pink, purple, peach, cream, and gold streamers hanging under a matching balloon arch. We absolutely cannot get enough of how detailed Kelsey made her tablescape. She began with a simple white table and fluffy pink pillows for each little guest to sit on with a woven run beneath it all.  Her table had a sparkling, iridescent white runner going across it. The centerpiece was a beautiful flower arrangement with pink and purple flowers in tiny vases on a pearled rectangular base. For added shimmer and shine, Kelsey scattered Butterfly Confetti and Party Disco Balls all over the table.

Each girls’ place setting was unique. Kelsey used a combination of colored cups and plates to make every setting just a little bit different. For plates, Kelsey used blush pink and lilac purple large paper plates as chargers. On top of each plate, she used pink and cream Simply Eco Small Paper Plates with our Large Fairy Napkins. For the plate in the middle, however, Kelsey used our large Flower Garden Paper Plates paired with our green leaf napkins to tie in the beautiful florals. Each plate was paired with either a blush pink, lilac purple, or iridescent classic party cup and pale pink wooden cutlery. Every child had their own special bottle of fairy dust made simply with a small corked glass bottle filled with glitter. The fairy dust even came paired with a small set of instructions for how to make a magical fairy wish. Kelsey made sure each little girl had her own tiny wooden fairy to ensure the fairy dust was used just right. And finally, each place setting was completed with a beautifully decorated pre-packaged sugar cookie for the girls to have after their meal or take home.

The girls had a grand time bouncing around in a huge, white bouncy castle between their meal and dessert. Kelsey made it even more exciting by lining the outside with another pink and purple balloon arch and throwing any balloons she had left into the castle to bounce around with the girls. She hung a Gold Sparkle Star Chandelier at the very top to make it seem like fairy dust was raining down on the girls as they played.

When it was finally time for cake, Kelsey came prepared with not one but three cakes. Each cake was decorated in white frosting on a white cake stand sprinkled with Bouquet Mix Flower Confetti.
