What child doesn’t just absolutely love rainbows? Rainbows peek through the clouds like magic after a rainy day. Children just love to pick out the vibrant colors and feel the excitement of seeing a rainbow streak across the sky. With rainbows come feelings of happiness and the promise of sunshine and fun. We love rainbows here at Ellie and Piper, and we were super excited to hear about what this momma did for her daughter Victoria’s third birthday.

Our friend and Ellie and Piper momma, Katherine, threw her daughter Victoria, a chic rainbow-inspired party for her third birthday. We love how she took the concept of rainbows and added her own magical touches to accent the theme. If your child loves colors, this would be a great birthday party theme!

Rainbow Party Themed Supplies and Decorations

It’s so creative how Katherine used white balloons to create a whimsical garland cloud flowing with rainbow tassels. The hint of sparkle with the gold fringe curtain around the edges gives her backdrop the perfect touch of sunshine. You can recreate this effect at home in a variety of ways with supplies from our party boutique. Our rainbow balloon arch or rainbow balloon garland paired with our metallic gold and white party streamers offer colorful alternatives. Katherine finished off her backdrop with our magical unicorn mylar balloon and our jumbo number three balloon in light pink.

The best part of any birthday party is - without a doubt - the cake. Katherine laid out a beautiful table to display Victoria’s cake topped with the golden star wand. We love how she kept the table itself simple and clean but added pops of color with vases filled with vibrant flowers. This is such a simple way to spruce up a table and make the atmosphere feel so fresh. Plus, you have pretty flowers to keep in your home once the party is over! Victoria’s adorable cake immediately draws the eye displayed on our pink melamine cake stand. It is practically perfect, topped with its own little rainbow. Just about every child loves the chance to sip fancy drinks like grown-ups do. We love that Katherine chose to serve her little guests in champagne coupes.
