Not-so-Scary Pink Halloween Party
Summer is finally winding down, and, of course, that means Halloween is around the corner! From costumes to candy, Halloween is a fan favorite for kids of all ages. There are so many ways to throw a ghoulishly amazing Halloween party. You can opt for terrifying decorations and themes or go for something more light-hearted and fun. Our friend and Ellie and Piper party lover, Katherine threw a spooktacularly adorable Halloween bash for her friends and their children. She took her Halloween decor to a fun and glamorous new level in her not-so-scary pink Halloween Party.
Pink Halloween Party Supplies and Decorations
Katherine had balloons draped in garlands all around her spacious backyard, just about anywhere that could hold them. She used balloons in different shades of pink and black to create her garlands. She also added Ghost Balloons from our Halloween Collection for some added cute but spooky fun. Katherine had her garlands emerging from decorative witch cauldrons for another Halloween touch as if they were the colorful smoke from an eerie witch’s brew.
Katherine also strung large mylar balloons with her garlands. Silver stars and moons hung around for a bit of sparkle throughout the party. Katherine used our pink, black, and white balloons to add to her backdrop behind her dessert table for a Halloween feel. To add even more ghoulish-fun to recreate this Pink Halloween Party at your home, the bat shaped foil balloon, boo Halloween balloon bouquet, and Halloween icon balloon would be perfect additions.
For her table, Katherine went for classical but spooky decor. In the center of a simple white table, she laid a large black spider web table liner. She then added a small pedestal holding her Trick or Treat painted pumpkin centerpiece. Decorative potion bottles and pots filled with fresh pink and white flowers surrounded the centerpiece. Finally, Katherine completed the look with a bottle covered in a web, a giant spider, and a crowned skull for a creepy but glamorous look. The porcelain flocked white pumpkin set in our new Halloween collection would add the final touch to keep up with the elegant Halloween aesthetic.
We love how creative Katherine got with her tablescape. Each place setting alternated between a spooky skull plate or our femme small plates layered on an octagonal white charger. The pink and black cups were perfect for Katherine’s pink Halloween party. She also added a Halloween reusable straw to each cup and pastel Halloween napkins to finish off her place settings. Finally, she scattered gold spider web decorations across the table and mini plastic spiders for a creepy finishing touch to her tablescape.
In between dinner and cake time, Katherine handed out pastel ghost paper plates to her guests and served a delightfully frightening charcuterie board. It was artfully arranged with different meats, cheeses, fruits, and spreads but with a dash of Halloween fun. Katherine added a ghostly skeleton hand looming over the food, threatening to catch anyone who ate from there. She also scattered more mini decorative spiders across the board to surprise her guests.
The dessert table that Katherine put together for this party was an artistic sight. A spider web table runner ran down the center of the table, and several pink and white cake stands of all sizes were placed on top of it. We have various cake stands that would be perfect for achieving this look, including the Pink Melamine Cake Stand and the Medium Bamboo Fiber Cake Stand. Using the cake stands gave the table a layered look and definitely drew the eye in. They held different decorations such as a crystal skull, a spell bottle, and vases of fresh flowers. They also held delicious cake pops frosted to match Katherine’s decorations.
As huge fans of cookies ourselves, we love that Katherine chose to feature her custom Halloween sugar cookies like art. She displayed them on small canvas holders so all of her guests could see how adorable they are. She finished off her dessert table with a tall vase of spooky branches, glass candy dishes filled with pink chocolates, and the adorably ghostly cake with a stack of pastel ghost paper plates to serve it on.
Katherine had the most wonderfully charming ghost cake made for the party. With subtle pink frosting and dabs of icing ghosts floating all around the cake, it was the perfect cake for a pink Halloween themed party. We especially love the balloon garland topper that Katherine crafted. It matched her decorations precisely and even had spider web fluffs and tiny bats.
Katherine had loads of activities for the kids to enjoy. The activity the little ones were most excited about was decorating their own Halloween cookie pops. Katherine had cookie decorating kits created from Frost Your Cookie. The kids had a great time choosing frosting and covering their cookies in colorful sprinkles. Afterward, Katherine held up a ghost pinata and helped the kids spill candy everywhere.
Katherine’s daughter had a playhouse in their backyard that was transformed into a haunted abode just for the party. It was surrounded by pumpkins, a witch’s broom, and hay bales, complete with a festive guest skeleton. Cute pumpkin and skeleton signs hung outside to welcome the guests in, and black spider web decorations were strung across the top to give the house Halloween vibes.
For the adult guests, Katherine laid out a champagne table. She decorated it with vases of flowers and fun Halloween quotes. Shatterproof Stemless Champagne Flutes were placed on a black cake stand, ready and waiting for Katherine and her friends to pop the top off their bottle of Prosecco and garnish their glass with black and white gumdrop drink stirrers.
Katherine’s final touch for her pink Halloween party was her adorable party favor bags. She used our pink halloween gift bags and filled them with even more candy and fun gifts for the kids to enjoy.
