Girl Gang “Galentines” Valentines Day Party
As a little kid, Valentine's Day is always such a fun holiday. Picking out valentines to give to all your friends in school, getting to make a "mailbox" to collect all your Valentines in, and of course, pink everything! Over the years, it has become increasingly popular to host a "Galentine's Day" party to celebrate friendship amongst all your besties. Who's to say that these fun parties are only for adults? Our friend, Ashley Ross, threw a darling Girl Gang party for her daughter and all her closest friends.
Galentine's Day is typically celebrated the day before Valentine's Day on February 13th. The idea for a Galentine's Day celebration actually stemmed from an episode of the TV show Parks & Recreation and has pretty much become a full-fledged holiday ever since! It's the perfect way to celebrate just how special your friends mean to you.
The little sweethearts at Ashley's party loved the fun decorations and had so much fun with their girl gang! The balloons were a huge focal point for the Galentine's Day party. Here, Ashley used our pink heart foil balloon and the red heart foil balloons from our Ellie and Piper Valentines Day collection.
Ashley put together an adorable tablescape for all the sweethearts to enjoy their Valentine's Day sweets. We love how she used different pink, red, peach, and gold hues throughout the decorations to bring this Girl Gang party together. For the tablescape, Ashley used a variety of plates, napkins, and cups that we have available in our Ellie and Piper Valentines Day collection.
We absolutely are crushing over how perfect she paired everything together. For plates, Ashley chose to put the heart plates on the bottom, with our printed heartbeat small plate over top. The heartbeat napkins completed the set and looked adorable with the red and white cutlery. To add in a bit of glam and sparkle, Ashley added our gold fringe cups and sprinkled hopeless romantic confetti on the table.
These angels adored their Girl Gang Galentine's Day party. This was such a cute way to throw a Valentine's Day party for the little sweethearts in your life.
