You’ve probably seen “fries before guys” displayed on funny t-shirts, silly photos on the internet, accessories, and even bumper stickers. It’s become a popular and funny saying for gal pals all around the world. Our dear friend Ashley decided to make her own spin on the expression and planned an entire party theme around it. This certainly is something we have never seen before at the Ellie and Piper family, but we were so excited to be involved. Maybe we party lovers need to have our own funny party phrase!

For her gorgeous parties, Ashley always has the most stunning backdrops. The pastel colors she used would be perfect for a spring party too! At our Ellie and Piper, we have so many different items to choose from to create this beautiful backdrop for your own pretty party. Our Pastel Party Streamer and Balloon Garland Backdrop would be showstopping and match the rest of the party decor. Don't feel intimidated; they are DIY and are simple to put together. You can add the Pastel and Gold Tassel Garland along with the Butterfly Classic Balloons for even more pretty pastel party flair. Of course, a Fries Before Guys Galentine's party just wouldn't be complete without yummy french fries balloons. A party can never have too many balloons!

Have you ever seen a cake that looked so pretty, you didn't want to eat it? The little party people certainly didn't have any trouble diving into this beautiful cake! The pastel colors of the stripes tie in effortlessly with the tablescape. If you’re looking for a versatile cake stand, we have a variety of cake stands to match every color used in this decadent cake. Ashley decided to go with the Pink Cake Stand, which made the intricate detailing of the fruit and candy around the cake pop beautifully. This cake certainly has us screaming, “fries before guys!”

Don't let the fun faces enjoying crinkle fries and ketchup fool you. These are actually cookies! This was such a fun idea that Ashley incorporated into this Fries Before Guys Galentine's Day theme party. Ashley pulled this off perfectly. The Ellie and Piper team couldn't believe it! Of course, to keep with the fries theme, you could undoubtedly serve french fries for party food. But why not make the party even sweeter for your special ones? Ashley had sugar cookies made that looked just like crinkle fries from a diner restaurant with red frosting served in a little white cup for dipping. Party food doesn't get more fun than that!

The table setting at this fries before guys Galentine’s Day party was savory and sweet! Ashley paired the Lilac Large Plates and the Neon Heart Plates together. To give an extra oomph, Ashley used two different styles of napkins that looked perfect with the colors of the plates. The Scalloped Gold Napkins on the bottom layered with the Fries Before Guys Napkins were just perfect for this party theme! The pastel colors in the plates and napkins were such a nice contrast against the bright red and yellow used throughout the color palette of this party.

Adding to the overall tablescape, Ashley sprinkled our signature confetti similar to this Candy Confetti throughout the table for added sparkle. No party is complete without confetti, and our party boutique has over 30 different varieties of unique confetti to choose from. Anything looks a little prettier with confetti! Even though the little ones weren’t snacking on fries, crinkle fries indeed made their appearance on the tablescape. How cute of an idea! Finishing off the red and yellow theme were Coca-Cola cans. Yes, just the cans, no soda drinking for the kiddies! Our Red Striped Straws pair perfectly with the Coke cans and add the final touch which made the little party-goers feel so special.

These little cuties had so much fun at the fries before guys Galentine’s Day party. With everything that their wonderful mama Ashley did to put this together, how could they not! Between the french fry sugar cookies, “Coca-Cola” drink, and their friends all around, these lovelies are definitely spending their day putting their Galentine’s and french fries first! Being a part of this fun party that Ashley hosted was such a joy for Ellie and Piper to partake in. We love getting to party with you all and be there making happy memories with your loved ones.
