An At-Home Art Class Seventh Birthday Party Theme
Finding a seventh birthday theme can be tricky. If you are lucky, your child will pick their theme. If not, then you are on your own, it can seem like! At that age, there isn't much to choose from, so you really have to get creative as a parent. That's just what our mama friend, Deb, did for her daughter's party. She planned this gorgeous, at-home art class seventh birthday party theme. You will love how fun it turned out and just how simple it'll be to put together at home!
How sweet is this cake? You could easily recreate this at home without having to hire a baker. Plus, getting to bake a cake together with your family would make this at-home art class seventh birthday party that much more special! Here at Ellie and Piper, our party boutique has so many different fun cake decorating supplies. Our lavender purple number candles come in one through nine and pair perfectly with the rainbow ombre beeswax candles. Just get any colored frosting to decorate, and you’re all set for a delicious and gorgeous cake!
Now, of course an at-home art class birthday party wouldn't be complete without having a creative activity for the kids. They need a way to have fun while you're snapping photos for Instagram, right? Our Ooly rainbow watercolor paint pods are perfect for letting the kids paint and play. In the set comes 36 different colors and a watercolor paintbrush to make it super convenient. If you don't want to deal with the mess of paint, rainbow watercolor crayons would be another great choice. These wood hanging birdhouses are simple and adorable for the kiddos to paint. With many kids learning virtually these days, this is such a great way to get their creative brains going, away from their screens and feel like they are back in art class with their friends!
The Ellie and Piper team swoons over a gorgeous table setting at a party! This place setting for the at-home art class seventh birthday party theme is undoubtedly one of our favorites. The key to making a pretty place setting is layering and mixing different colors and patterns. It might seem crazy at first, but it always ends up tying together and looking great! Once you do your first few, you will get the hang of it.
With any table setting, you can't go wrong with confetti! Deb used our candy confetti to sprinkle all over the table. She used our large lilac purple watercolor ombre plates on the bottom with the pretty in pink watercolor plate on top. The soft lilac color against the bright pink makes the plates pop and looks great with the cake! You can use our coral pink napkins or the peach and lavender watercolor napkins if you want to match the other watercolor items. To tie it all together, Deb used our wooden cutlery, which added an earthy essence.
We love the versatility of this at-home art class seventh birthday party theme. Whether you have a boy, a girl, a three-year-old, or a ten year old, this party is enough to make anyone wow! Plus, you can customize the color palette to be the favorite for the special one celebrating their birthday. The kids will love getting to have arts and crafts time and the crafts can double as a take-home party favor. It’ll be an all around great experience for the kids and adults!
